The Tourist Office of Grand Domaine Bagnoles de l'Orne has been engaged in a quality improvement process since 2008, and obtained the Quality Tourism brand in 2011. This commitment to quality was born out of a real desire to be constantly responsive visitors and to harmonize the welcome extended of the public coming to the Tourist Office and the Grand Domaine Bagnoles de l’Orne

 

 

Here are the commitments of the Grand Domaine Bagnoles de l'Orne Tourist Office:

  • A warm welcome in the best conditions in the reception area, along with suitable information, by phone and by email.
  • Information for each visitor: Our break councillors are at your disposal to provide useful information to organize your stay and ensure that brochures are made available and are up-to-date. All relevant information is also available on this website.
  • Encourage the discovery of the Grand Domaine Bagnoles de l’Orne and invite visitors to try new activities and entertainment, suitable for all ages.
  • To listen carefully to remarks, suggestions and complaints: Recording comments, suggestions and complaints for the Office of Tourism services or other service providers of the Grand Domaine Bagnoles de l’Orne.
  • Measure the satisfaction of visitors using a satisfaction questionnaire, which we will invite you to fill-in: Satisfaction Questionnaire (remote).

The Grand Domaine Bagnoles de l’Orne Tourist Office has two stars: Our commitments

 

 

 

Bagnoles de l'Orne, an environmentally friendly resort: Bagnoles de l'Orne has held the “Station Vert” label since 2009, a national reference for holiday destinations with a "Natural" theme, dedicated to recreation, relaxation activities and outdoor sports, acting enthusiastically on sustainable development.

 

 

The ten Station Verte commitments

  • A consultancy service and tourist information involved in a quality management approach
  • Diverse accommodation and catering open all year round, or in line with tourist seasons
  • Shops and services adapted to the needs of tourists and visitors
  • An outdoor leisure offer
  • An entertainment program and festivities
  • An offer for families
  • Affordability for all
  • Engagement in the Ecotourism process
  • An efficient organization to coordinate and lead the resort.

The Tourist Office is deeply involved in sustainable development: the gestures of everyday life and a little common sense can protect our environment for the future!

We strive to: 

  • Reduce paper use: sending brochures and information by email; Booklet printing is via a certified eco printer; considered use of printing paper and recycling of outdated brochures (in partnership with a local association); management of documentation stocks.
  • Promote recycling: Distribution of sorting bags to our visitors and local people.
  • Promote the use of public transport in and around the Grand Domaine Bagnoles de l'Orne (shuttle bus) and beyond (national and local rail and coach networks including Cap'Orne).
  • Consider our travel management: carpooling for travel in Bagnoles de l'Orne and beyond the city (car pools regularly organised with other tourist offices)
